The boring-but-important bits
Plain-English version: Andy’s Leg Billboard is a free, curated novelty advertising project. If I accept your advert or message, I decide what appears and when. Nothing goes public automatically, and I can refuse, edit by agreement, reschedule, hide or remove content.
1. The project
Andy’s Leg Billboard provides a featured position on this website connected to a real-world tattoo project. Featured placements are currently offered free of charge. A typical placement may run for around seven days, but dates and duration are agreed or confirmed when a submission is accepted.
2. Applications and approval
Submitting content is an application, not a guarantee of publication. Every business advert and personal message is subject to manual review. I may decline a submission for any reasonable reason, including safety, legality, suitability, accuracy, capacity or simply because it is not a good fit for the project.
3. What you may supply
Accepted material may include a business or display name, headline, short message, location, plain-text social name or handle, and an approved image or logo. Content must be lawful, accurate, non-deceptive and suitable for a general audience.
4. Rights to supplied material
By supplying a logo, image, name or other material, you confirm that you have the right or permission to let Andy’s Leg Billboard display it for the agreed placement. You keep ownership of your material.
5. Editing and removal
I may ask for changes before approving a submission. I may also hide or remove published content if a concern arises later. Where practical, material changes to an approved business advert will be discussed with the person who submitted it.
6. No performance promise
This is an experimental novelty project, not a guaranteed marketing service. No particular audience size, enquiry level, sale, response or commercial outcome is promised.
7. Endorsement
Featuring a business, organisation, cause or message does not by itself mean I endorse or guarantee it, its products, services or claims.
8. LEG IT!
LEG IT! is a moderated public message board. Submissions do not appear automatically. I may approve, reply to, hide or delete submissions. Do not submit unlawful, abusive, deceptive, threatening, discriminatory, sexually explicit or personally identifying material about another person.
9. Availability
I will make reasonable efforts to keep the site working, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Because placements are free, there is no fee to refund if the project is unavailable, changed or discontinued.
10. Changes
These terms may be updated as the project develops. Material changes will be reflected on this page before new features are opened to the public.
